Perhaps one of Weymouth’s best kept secrets, the Duke is a tiny town centre pub with it’s own unique atmosphere. For those who favour a ‘real’ pub over the more anonymous chains, the Duke has about as much in common with a Wetherspoons or Yates as a Michelin-starred eaterie has with a KFC.

Sporting a log fire and one of the only outside loos in any pub in the UK, the Duke attracts a friendly, colourful clientele especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Definitely the pub of choice for a good lively session without the benefit of puking hoodies and pounding hard house.
